Nissan Navara NP300 First Test Drive

I just came back from testing the 4x4 190hp NP300 Narara 2015. It was the top end model,full options. Very comfortable and the 7 gear automatic is smooth and quiet. I didn't have a chance to go off-road, it was the test drive model and we stayed around the town. Easy driving in busy traffic and pretty strong accelerations on the motorway. New Navara NP300 Capabilities Test Drive

This August the automotive press journalist have been invited in Chang Mai Thailand to test the extraordinary offroad capabilities of the new Nissan Navara NP300.



No doubts that all journalists were impressed, there has been huge improvements in power and torque compared to previous version, without mentioning that is is much more comfortable. Nissan can really be proud of his new truck and the competitors will get a strong alternative. This Navara NP300 global test has been a lot of fun.

New Nissan Navara NP300 To Be Produced In Thailand

Nearly 4 billion Thai Baths were invested in the brand new Nissan Plant in Thailand. The line will build the new Navara NP300 Pickup Line.

The Japanese firm has invested 3.7 billion Thai Baht ($114 million) in the 580,000 square meter facility, creating 2,000 new jobs in the process. The plant is expected to reach a full capacity of 150,000 vehicles a year, increasing Nissan’s production capacity in Thailand to 370,000 units.
More than half of the vehicles produced at the new plant will be exported to global markets. Nissan says the localization ratio of vehicles produced is already at 85 percent, including the engine plant.

“Thailand is the engine of growth for us in the region, so we’re excited to be opening this second plant today that will produce our latest pickup”, said Fumiaki Matsumoto, Nissan’s Executive Vice President responsible for global manufacturing. “It signifies our optimism for Thailand, as a growing automotive market, a center of manufacturing excellence for the region and an export hub for the world,” the executive added.

The new plant produced the first NP300 Navara pickup on July 1 and sales began on July 3. The pickup truck is available in two versions: King Cab and Double Cab, priced from 575,000 Thai Baht ($17,760) and 656,000 Thai Baht ($20,262), respectively. Deliveries to Thai customers begin in mid-August.

No doubt that the quality will be great as expected. Thailand is already producing Pickup Truck for a several major car companies and it is they are 2nd pickup truck buyers worldwide after the USA.

Nissan Navarra 2015 was Officially Revealed

Great news for pickup truck lovers, the brand new Nissan Navarra (Frontier) has just been revealed in it 2015 version. This is a complete new truck and it look beautiful, both from outside and inside. No doubts it will perform suberbly off road and on normal roads.

Under the bonnet, the 2015 engines have been reworked to have a better efficiency and in average -11% consumption. There are two diesel ingines 2500 cc, one with 163 hp/403 Nm and the other 190 hp/450 Nm. using a 6 gear manual or 7 gears automatic in option. More picture and road test videos to follow.
